Where We Started
In 1961, the Episcopal-Presbyterian Foundation for the Aging was formed as a non-profit corporation designed to operate a facility for the care of the elderly. Our first community opened the next year, followed by our second location (Tower Grove Manor) two years after that. Our presence throughout the region continued to grow, even more so after we adopted the name "St. Andrew's" as a reflection of our faith-based heritage.
Where We Are Today
Today, St. Andrew's brings in over $87 million in revenues, employs over 1,100 dedicated individuals, and serves over 8,700 seniors and their caregivers each year. The St. Andrew's family now includes 16 independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and life plan communities located throughout the region. We also have an in-home senior service organization, a charitable foundation, and a home repair service. We are proud to provide welcoming communities in which to live while also working to help seniors stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Where We're Going
St. Andrew's continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions that help seniors and their caregivers Worry Less. Whether it's creating mid-America's first one-of-a-kind Active Adult Community (St. Andrew's of Summerville), to investing in on-site technology to help seniors communicate easier with friends and family, we're looking forward to the next 60 years of service!
