We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in our compassionate, non-profit senior living community in Valley Park, Mo. Cape Albeon was founded in 2000 on faith-based principles and service to others and is locally partnered with St. Andrews Management Services.

Responsibilities of this position include but not limited to assisting Maintenance Director and other staff in all aspects of property maintenance. Diagnose problems and make repairs in basic maintenance areas. Provide on-call services on a rotating basis with other service team members which will include nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years’ experience in property / apartment maintenance.
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines, maintaining efficiency and control over projects assigned within time frames allowed and changing priorities.
  • Basic maintenance skills, including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and appliances.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., perform repetitive stooping, bending and kneeling motions, and able to climb a ladder to perform high reach duties.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and set standards to achieve goal.
  • Willingness to train in new maintenance skills.
  • High school education or the equivalent of an apprentice program or trade school in the building trade.
