Brooking Park is looking for a dedicatedcompassionate, and missionfocused individual to join our team as the Business Office Manager.

The position of the Business Office Manager is responsible for maintaining business office policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for overseeing financial operations, such as accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all insurance payments, including private pay, and Medicare. The mission-focused person must function as both a team member and leader to ensure that work is accomplished, and quality care and service is delivered while supporting team members and celebrating team successes.

Job Responsibilites:

  • Attends morning meetings to review discharges, admits, and payor changes
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains residents’ files
  • Ensures all financial data expectations and deadlines are met
  • Remains current on policies regarding leave and resident trust accounting
  • Serves as a liaison with families and community agencies
  • Ability to establish effective relationships and communication with residents, family members, staff, coworkers, external parties and general public
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Oversees and relieves receptionist
  • Completes state-required training per regulations

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an assisted living facility or long-term care setting
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • OR Master’s degree in related fields, such as public health, long-term care administration or health administration

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization, time management, problem solving/resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Financial/business principles
  • Business computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to learn new computer applications
  • Interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
