Executive Chef – The Willows
The Willows is searching for a talented and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents. This key role offers an exciting opportunity to create and execute high-quality, diverse culinary offerings.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
– Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
– Develop and create innovative and nutritionally balanced menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in food preparation and storage.
– Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and dining experiences.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a leadership role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
– Culinary arts degree or equivalent culinary certification is preferred.
– Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
– Knowledge of current culinary trends, dietary needs, and a passion for creativity in menu development.
– Understanding of health and safety regulations in food service operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in menu planning and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
– Familiarity with senior living or a similar community environment.
– Proficiency in inventory management and purchasing.
