President & CEO

St. Andrew's expert staff is led by President/CEO Mary Alice Ryan, nationally known for her expertise and innovation in senior housing and services. Ms. Ryan is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), a national trade association with over 5,600 not-for-profit members serving millions of older adults nationally.

Chief Operating Officer

Tyler Troutman is the new Vice President of Operations. For the past 5 years, Troutman worked with DC Schnoberg & Associates. His past positions include work within the St. Andrew's family as Executive Director to Brooking Park, and Administrator at Bethesda Home Health

Joseph Girardi

Joseph Girardi

Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Information Office, Joseph Girardi manages the performance budget of a 10-community portfolio, while overseeing risk management and running regulatory compliance. Joseph's previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at the Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, Inc.

Charlita Adkins

Corporate Human Resources Director

Charlita oversees and directs all human resources functions of STAMS-owned and managed communities, as well as the St. Andrew's Corporate Office. Oversees compliance with all laws and regulations relating to human resources as well as the Corporate Compliance Plan. Develops policies and directs and coordinates corporate level employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, education, safety, workers compensation, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
